Their qualified utility employees have extensive knowledge in constructing Substations and High Voltage infrastructure, understanding the unique aspects of working in high voltage environments. Their industry expertise and high standards have fostered strong relationships with industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various trades, professionals, and personnel requiring access to substation and network infrastructure.
• Ensure all personnel are aware of hazards in their work areas.
• Perform tasks safely within high voltage environments, adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Maintain public safety during work, managing site access and traffic control.

Requirements

• Recognized Alberta Journeyperson certification as a Power System Electrician (PSE).
• At least 5 years of experience as a PSE in Substations and/or Network infrastructure.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license for Alberta.
• Basic security clearance.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Electrical Utility Code and Safety Legislation (OHS Code).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Professional attitude with customer service focus.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Fall protection, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platform, and First Aid certifications are assets.
