EPC Designer (Classical Converter Design Role) – On-Site Preferred, will consider remote

Works on power converter and power electronics design for spacecraft units.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop power converters, particularly DC/DC converters.
2. Perform stability analysis, PCB layout, and filter design.
3. Conduct testing on-site; remote work may involve analysis tasks.
4. Ensure compliance with Controlled Goods regulations.
5. Utilize tools such as LTSpice, PSpice, Siemens Expedition, or similar.
6. Optional skills include worst-case analysis, FMECA, Monte Carlo simulation, part stress/reliability analysis, and radiation effects knowledge.

Electronic Power System Engineer – Hybrid/Remote Possible

Designs and manages system-level power electronics, bridges system design, and oversees subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bridge system design with detailed power electronics.
2. Manage subcontractors (batteries, BMS, solar arrays) and act as Technical Authority.
3. Perform power budget and transient analysis at the system level.
4. Coordinate multiple stakeholders with strong organizational skills.
5. Work options include hybrid or remote; on-site presence is preferred but not mandatory.
6. Start remotely, then transition to on-site (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).
7. Internal and customer communications are in English; French is not required.
8. Controlled Goods clearance is mandatory.
9. Urgent hiring with a fast interview process.
10. Work location: Outside Quebec is possible, but on-site is preferred, especially for EPC Designer.
