Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) is hiring a Power Platform Citizen Developer to design, build and maintain low-code solutions across the Interpretation and Translation Services portfolio. You will create secure, scalable apps, automations and reports that improve business processes, aligned with governance, security and data standards.

You’ll work with business informants and teams to enable real-time scheduling of interpreters, using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI within Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year college program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven) to solve a defined business problem
• Develop new Power Automate flows to automate manual or repetitive processes
• Gather requirements from business users and translate them into functional solutions
• Collaborate with Interpretation and Translation Services and project management teams, peers, subject matter experts and UHN Digital
• Develop and implement the new solution, including testing, user acceptance, and production deployment
• Governance and compliance
• Continuous improvement
• Completing a build guide and all solution documentation (e.g. downtime procedures, knowledge articles, admin manuals, onboarding guides etc.)
