BioVectra Inc. in Charlottetown, PEI, is hiring a Power Engineer for rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) to operate and maintain boilers, chillers, HVAC and PLC systems. The role includes monitoring system performance, logging activities, performing routine maintenance and ensuring regulatory compliance in a GMP environment.

• Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
• 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate preferred
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience maintaining boilers, chillers, HVAC and PLC systems
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines
• Millwright, Electrical, Electro-mechanical or plumbing training

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, HVAC and PLC systems on rotating 12-hour shifts
• Monitor and control all plant systems to ensure safe, efficient operation
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate logs of system operations and repairs
• Conduct water testing on water systems and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and support equipment upgrades or modifications
