Job summary

BioVectra Inc. in Charlottetown, PEI, part of Agilent, is hiring for a production operator. The role includes 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) in a GMP/GDP environment, operating filling/packaging equipment and weighing raw materials to assure accurate batch composition.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • 12-hour rotating shift work (days and nights).
  • Operate production/filling/packaging equipment in a GMP/GDP environment.
  • Weigh and measure raw materials to ensure correct batches.
  • Assist in validating processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization.
  • Maintain records to comply with regulatory requirements and assist with in-process testing if needed.

Days and nights· Being in compliance with GMP, GDP and standard operating procedures, performs production and assembly processes in a production environment· Operating production/filling/packaging equipment· Weighing, measuring and checking raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities· Helping in validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization· Maintaining records to comply with regulatory requirements and may assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specificationsQualificationsRequired:· High School Diploma· Lift up to 25 kg· Communication Skills both written and oralDesired:· Manufacturing experience· Experience with documentation in a regulated environment· cGMP experienceAdditional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $17.10 - $29.93/hr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
