Job summary

A technology consultancy is seeking a Power BI Developer in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, expertise in data integration with Azure and Databricks, and familiarity with agile methodologies. This 6-month contract offers a hybrid work model with 1 day per week in the office.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in visualization tools, focusing on Power BI and Tableau.
• Proven expertise in data integration and cloud platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Dataflows, Power Query, and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, T-SQL, GraphQL, PromQL, and KQL.
• Experience in data validation processes.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Design and implement visualization tools using Event Hubs, Kafka, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Gather business requirements to develop web-based reports.
• Ensure data integration between Power BI and backend sources.
• Oversee projects with proper documentation and testing.
