Job summary

Jobtailor in Montreal, QC, is seeking a senior BI/Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision making. You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, model data, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders across major projects.

You will collect, transform, and analyze data from multiple systems, monitor KPIs, support cost tracking and budgeting, and contribute to reporting process improvements. A university degree in a related field and 10 years of analytics or project management

• Requires university-level qualification in business intelligence, data analytics, administration, project management, computer science, or related field.
• Engineering degree is required.
• 10 years of experience as data/BI analyst or project management analyst.
• Proven track record of creating reports, dashboards, and decision-support analyses.
• Strong Power BI expertise: data modeling, reporting, visuals and data usage.

Requirements

• Strong experience creating reports, analyzing data, and producing decision-support dashboards
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, report creation, visualizations, and data utilization
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of cost control and budget tracking principles
• Experience working in major and complex project management environments
• Ability to analyze complex data, synthesize information, and present clear recommendations to stakeholders
