Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data & analytics leader to own and optimize our BI stack. You will manage Qlik Sense dashboards, data integration pipelines, and governance, while partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Ops to deliver actionable insights.

The role emphasizes data architecture, automation, and cross-functional collaboration, with responsibility to scale our data environment and drive strategic reporting.

• Strong hands-on Qlik Sense and SQL skills required.
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the organization's data and analytics environment including Qlik Sense, Snowflake, Fivetran, Census, and Veeva CRM.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations and pipelines; investigate inconsistencies and resolve issues with internal teams, consultants, and vendors.
• Establish scalable data organization, governance and documentation; drive automation and architecture improvements.
• Develop and administer Qlik Sense dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reports; create standardized reporting for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Leadership.
• Analyze business performance, trends and opportunities; present dashboards and insights to stakeholders; support recurring reporting and ad hoc requests.

Job description

• Own the organization's data and analytics environment, including Qlik Sense, Snowflake, Fivetran, Census, and Veeva CRM
• Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations and pipelines
• Investigate data inconsistencies and resolve issues with internal teams, consultants, and vendors
• Establish scalable data organization, documentation, and governance processes
• Improve automation, data architecture, and data environment efficiency
• Manage technology vendor relationships
• Develop and administer Qlik Sense dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reports
• Create standardized reporting for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership
• Analyze business performance, trends, opportunities, and areas for investigation
• Present dashboards, reports, and insights to organizational stakeholders
• Support recurring reporting and ad hoc analytical requests
• Partner with business units to understand reporting and analytics needs
• Contribute to data and reporting strategy
• Evaluate automation, AI, and emerging technologies
• Support integrations with additional platforms, including potential Amazon and Shopify integrations
• Balance ongoing reporting with long-term data improvement and implementation projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Management, or a similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense is required
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities
• Experience working with data warehouses, integrations, and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with Snowflake is strongly preferred
• Experience with Fivetran, Census, and/or Veeva CRM is an asset
• Power BI experience is an asset
• Strong understanding of data organization, data quality, governance, and scalable data practices
• Ability to investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems
• Strong business acumen and ability to identify key insights and business drivers within data
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with external technology vendors and consultants is an asset
