Job summary

Hayter's Farm in Dashwood, Ontario is seeking workers for poultry processing operations on site. No degree is required and no prior experience is needed; training will be provided to perform tasks in a poultry processing environment.

Responsibilities include slaughtering livestock, defeathering, singeing, washing, trimming cuts, and bone removal for wholesale use. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for long periods in a cold, noisy setting.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to handle physical workload and stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.

Responsibilities

• Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
• Remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging
• Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use
• Remove bones from meat
