Job summary

The University of Saskatchewan invites applications for the Manager, Postgraduate Medical Education. Reporting to the Associate Dean, PGME, the role directs day-to-day operations of the PGME Office, guiding staff, IT, facilities, data and finance to align with PGME policies and strategy.

Responsibilities include governance, onboarding, performance management, and strategic counsel to senior leaders, with strong collaboration across colleges and external partners to uphold national accreditation

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Master’s degree or equivalent with several years of managerial experience.
• Knowledge of medical education programs and accreditation standards is essential.
• Experience supervising staff and working in a university/healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the PGME Office operations and staff.
• Lead human resources, IT, facilities, data and financial management within PGME.
• Collaborate with College of Medicine leadership and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and policies.
• Provide strategic counsel to the Associate Dean and senior leaders.
