We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow with excellent communication skills to lead a project titled “Obtaining patient, caregiver, and provider perspectives on disaster management in kidney care”.

Natural and human-caused disasters have increased in scope and frequency, making people living with kidney diseases particularly vulnerable. The fellow will receive co-supervision from Dr. Sandal and another professor.

The fellow will lead all aspects of this research and will be supported by a research assistant and a lab or Master’s student.

Responsibilities and Objectives

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Designing the study, obtaining ethics approval, recruitment, data collection and analysis, manuscript preparation, and knowledge dissemination;
  • Collaborating with investigators across Canada and internationally, supported by our team;
  • Submitting abstracts to relevant conferences and institutional seminars.
