We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow with excellent communication skills to lead a project titled “Obtaining patient, caregiver and provider perspective on disaster management in kidney care”.
Natural and human-caused disasters have increased in scope and frequency, making people living with kidney diseases particularly vulnerable. Our preliminary work has identified gaps in disaster preparedness within the kidney community, leading to the development of a framework for disaster risk reduction and management. The project aims to gather perspectives from patients, providers, and caregivers. Most of the work will be conducted virtually. The fellow will receive co-supervision from Dr. Sandal and another professor.
The fellow will lead all aspects of this project and will be supported by a research assistant and a lab or Master’s student.
