As a Postal Clerk, you'll move between retail and mail operations depending on where you're needed. Some days will have you working a point-of-sale system, assisting customers, and managing product displays. Other days, you may be sorting and batching mail, operating mail processing equipment, or transporting mail between floors using rolling or motorized equipment. It's a position that keeps you active and engaged throughout your shift.
Canada Post places a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. You'll be expected to review mail items for address accuracy and proper postage, maintain a solid knowledge of postal products and services, and handle physical tasks responsibly — including lifting mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 lbs).
