Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a hands-on Post-Silicon Debug Engineer to diagnose and resolve hardware and firmware issues across our AI accelerator platforms. You will operate in a lab environment, building scalable debug tools and working with cross-functional teams to improve reliability.

You will collaborate with ASIC, firmware, and software engineers, lead silicon, board, and system-level debug efforts, and contribute to the transition from prototype to production in a hybrid Toronto-based role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware debug experience across silicon, firmware, and software.
• Strong root-cause analysis and issue resolution from discovery to fix.
• Experience with lab work and hardware debug tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and root-cause hardware and firmware issues across AI accelerator platforms (Blackhole, Wormhole, Galaxy).
• Lead silicon, board, and system-level debug efforts across power, memory, PCIe, and NoC.
• Develop Python/C scripts and tools to accelerate failure analysis and triage.
• Work in the lab with oscilloscopes, analyzers, and debug equipment.
• Collaborate with ASIC, firmware, and software teams to deliver reliable AI products.
