Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a hybrid, Toronto-based hardware debug engineer to lead post-silicon debugging on CPU/SoC/ASIC platforms and diagnose complex issues across silicon, boards, and systems. You will develop Python and C diagnostic tools and collaborate with ASIC, firmware, and software teams.

The role requires hands-on debugging in a lab environment, strong fault isolation skills, and experience with high-speed interfaces and debug methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with post-silicon debug for CPU/SoC/ASIC systems.
• Strong knowledge of processor architectures (RISC-V/x86/ARM).
• Hands-on debugging of hardware, firmware, and software issues using root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-silicon debug across AI accelerator platforms.
• Debug issues spanning power, thermal, PCIe, SerDes, NoC, and firmware.
• Develop Python and C-based diagnostic tools and automation.
