Job summary

Canada Post in Baie-des-Sables region is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant to deliver friendly, customer-focused counter service. You will handle postal products, process mail and assist customers with forms.

The ideal candidate lives in the community and can cover on-call shifts, with the ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration.
• Experience interacting with the public in retail/service settings, including sales and cash handling.
• Understanding of general or post office accounting systems.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lb, push/pull, sort mail and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to be available for temporary, on-call work.
