Job summary

Canada Post is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant to deliver friendly, customer-focused counter services in the community. The ideal candidate will reside locally and assist with postal product sales, mail processing, and customer inquiries in a fast-paced retail setting.

French essential with the option of combined English/French work knowledge. This term, on-call position offers flexible hours and the chance to become part of a trusted postal network in Quebec communities.

Qualifications

• High school or provincial equivalency is required.
• Experience interacting with the public in a retail/service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
• Understanding of general or post office accounting systems.
• Physically fit to lift mail containers and stand for extended periods.

• Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
