This role is part of our growing Portfolio Management Group, responsible for credit coverage in the Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT) sector, mainly for investment-grade corporate borrowers. You will prepare detailed credit analyses, evaluate risks, and support active credit management and underwriting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ongoing credit monitoring of the portfolio, reviewing borrower compliance and financial reports.
  • Prepare credit analyses and applications, evaluating corporate, industry, and regulatory risks.
  • Perform due diligence on new transactions and evaluate existing loans.
  • Coordinate and communicate account information across teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of country/risk factors and industry events in TMT sector.
  • Attend client and bank meetings as appropriate.
  • Participate in special projects and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate data in bank systems.
Advanced Credit/Underwriting Solutions
  • Support prescreening of credit transactions, identifying structural issues and risks.
  • Work on structured credit transactions like securitizations, supply chain finance, FX, and leasing.
  • Maintain industry knowledge, including technical and regulatory aspects.
Policy and Deal Advocacy
  • Support the Portfolio Manager and communicate with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk Officers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and assign appropriate ratings to transactions.
  • Complete training courses timely and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in a financial institution or accounting firm.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Experience analyzing corporate credit and transactions.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Formal credit training at a money center bank is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; CFA is a plus.
