Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Porter to maintain clean and safe environments across designated areas. You will dust, mop, clean washrooms, empty waste receptacles, restock supplies and operate cleaning equipment as part of daily duties.

The role requires reliable, motivated individuals who can communicate effectively, work well in a team, and physically perform cleaning tasks. Canadian work experience is not required, and the position offers an hourly wage in a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

The hourly wage range for this position is $22 to $25. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for cleaning tasks in designated areas of a building, including dusting, dust mopping, cleaning washroom fixtures, spot cleaning, emptying, and cleaning ashtrays and emptying and cleaning waste receptacles and vacuuming carpets.

As a Porter, You Will

• Perform general custodial requirements and any related duties as assigned (duties include but are not limited to use of various cleaning equipment, vacuuming, spot cleaning, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying waste receptacles and other common areas).
• Restock single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins.
• Complete periodic equipment checks.
• Observe/practice all health & safety procedures and policies
