Everclean is seeking an On-Call/Casual Day Porter to support daily cleaning and maintenance at a busy mall in North Vancouver, BC. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and pride in clean public spaces, with shifts as needed.

As a Day Porter, you will respond to spills, maintain restrooms, manage waste, and ensure common areas are presentable and safe for shoppers and staff throughout each day. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifikationen

• Previous janitorial/porter experience is an asset but not required; training provided.
• Ability to work independently with effective time management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending and lifting for extended periods.
• Positive, professional attitude with customer service awareness.
• Flexible availability to respond to on-call shifts on short notice.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, corridors, food courts, and washrooms.
• Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning requests.
• Restock washroom supplies (towels, soap, toilet paper).
• Empty and manage garbage and recycling stations.
• Sweep, mop and spot-clean hard floor surfaces.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence on the floor.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Support event setup and teardown cleanup as needed.

Schedule: On-Call / Casual | Monday–Sunday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (shifts as needed)
Pay Rate: $20.59 per hour

About the Role

Everclean is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented On-Call/Casual Day Porter to support daily cleaning and maintenance operations at a busy mall in North Vancouver, BC. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in maintaining clean public spaces, and are available on a flexible, as‑needed basis.

As a Day Porter, you will be the face of cleanliness on the floor — responding to spills, maintaining restrooms, managing waste stations, and ensuring the common areas are consistently presentable and safe for shoppers and staff throughout the day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing routine cleaning of common areas, corridors, food courts, and washrooms throughout the mall
• Responding promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning requests
• Restocking washroom supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper)
• Emptying and managing garbage and recycling stations
• Sweeping, mopping, and spot-cleaning hard floor surfacesMaintaining a visible and professional presence on the floor
• Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
• Operating cleaning equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner
• Supporting event setup and teardown cleanup as needed
