Shared Health is seeking a Porter Aide in Brandon to transport patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department and to maintain supplies within SH Med Imaging. The role requires ensuring tidy dressing rooms and adherence to standardized procedures.
The successful candidate will have six months of healthcare-patient experience, Grade 12 education, and current BCLS certification, with work arranged across days, evenings and weekends in person.

Under the supervision of the Manager, the Porter Aide transports patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department as directed and in accordance with standardized procedures. The Porter Aide maintains the supply of materials and department supplies, as ensures dressing rooms are kept tidy. Functions are conducted in accordance with the Mission and Values of Shared Health, current policies and procedures and applicable legislation.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
