Are you looking to have some fun in the sun this summer and make money doing it? Join us poolside at the Radisson Blu outdoor pool from June 1st to September 15th. The Host is responsible for welcoming guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Enjoy a backdrop facing Lake Ontario to the south and the CN Tower to the north, helping our hotel guests and day-pass holders enjoy an amazing experience poolside.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting and seating guests, and presenting the poolside cocktail and dining menus
• Interacting with guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Answering phones and taking restaurant reservations
• Restocking supplies and maintaining a clean work area
• Ensuring the bar area and lounge are clean and tidy
• Assisting in other Food & Beverage areas as determined by management

What We Are Looking For...

• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and bend for up to 8 hours
• Excellent grooming standards
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

It would be advantageous to demonstrate:

• Experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality industry
• Knowledge of POS systems like Micros or Lightspeed
• Smart Serve certification
