Job summary

HR Project Partners Inc. is seeking a Program and Policy Analyst for MMSB in St. John’s, NL.

The role involves researching and analyzing new recycling and waste diversion opportunities for the province and coordinating management of the Waste Management Trust fund. The position is full-time and based in-office, with potential travel for site visits. The candidate should have 3–5 years of policy analysis experience, a degree in business or environmental science, and strong data presentation

Qualifications

• Degree in business or environmental science.
• 3–5 years of policy analysis/program development experience.
• Ability to collect, analyse and present data to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Waste Management Trust Fund and evaluate funding proposals.
• Provide policy and program support for provincial recycling programs.
• Assist with development and implementation of new provincial recycling programs.
• Undertake research projects to advance sustainable waste management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and support MMSB conferences and forums.
