Job summary

Medavie is seeking a Policy Analyst to support internal and external clients with eligibility, member billing, and digital tools inquiries. You will update records and apply eligibility standards in line with group insurance contracts, entering data into administrative systems and coordinating with stakeholders.

You will work under the Team Lead in Client Solutions, handling inquiries by phone, reviewing enrollment or change requests, and contributing to process improvements while meeting

Qualifications

  • Analytical skills required to interpret insurance contracts and eligibility standards.
  • Experience in insurance or customer service is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-entry tools.

  • Analyze requests, ensure follow-up and documentation, and forward to internal teams as needed.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Team Lead, Client Solutions, the Policy Analyst provides administrative and technical support to internal and external clients regarding requests related to eligibility, member billing, and support for users of our digital tools. The analyst ensures the updating of records, correspondence, and the application of eligibility standards in accordance with group insurance contracts. The analyst enters data into administrative systems and communicates with various stakeholders for any information related to the application of eligibility and billing standards.

What You Will Do
  • Provide administrative and technical assistance to internal and external clients.
  • Provide telephone support to group administrators during business hours.
  • Analyze requests, ensure follow-up and documentation, and forward to internal teams as needed.
  • Apply policies and eligibility standards when reviewing enrollment or change requests.

What We Are Looking For
  • College diploma (DEC).
  • Two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in group insurance or customer service would be a strong asset.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret insurance contracts.
  • Completion of LOMA 1 and 2 courses according to company policy (an asset).
  • Computer skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
