The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) is seeking a Practice Lead for the Strategic Planning, Reporting and Execution (SPRE) team to design and implement an enterprise-level Project Management Office. The mandate of the OSC is to provide protection to investors from unfair, improper or fraudulent practices, to foster fair, efficient and competitive capital markets and confidence in the capital markets, to foster capital formation, and to contribute to the stability of the financial system and the reduction of systemic risk. This mandate is performed through policy, operational, and enforcement activities.

The Strategic Planning, Reporting and Execution (SPRE) Department is responsible for leading strategic planning and enterprise-wide business planning; guiding project prioritization and execution as well as overseeing the project portfolio and monitoring corporate performance; and reporting on progress to the Board, Ministry of Finance and the public. The Practice Lead supports the Head of Strategic PMO by leading the design, development and implementation of processes, tools, templates and project reporting to enhance Project Management at the OSC and the effective and efficient delivery of the OSC Strategic Plan. The Practice Lead will work with SPRE and team members, project leads and executive leaders across the OSC. They will also interact with the CSA Project Management office and team. This opportunity is considered to be a business critical role supporting the Strategic Planning, Reporting & Execution department.
