Job summary

Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is seeking a PM Sous Chef to work with the Head Chef and kitchen team at Albreda Lodge, Blue River, BC. You will maintain high-quality meals, ensure kitchen cleanliness, assist in menu planning, and support inventory, ordering, and service.

The role requires 3–5 years as a Sous Chef, experience in upscale dining, and strong customer service skills. Expect long hours, seasonal workload, and opportunities to participate in heli-skiing hospitality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as Sous Chef.
• Experience in a modern, up-scale restaurant.
• 5+ years in the food service industry.
• Knowledge of FOODSAFE and first aid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality fresh nutritious meals for guests and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and garbage areas and keep it immaculate.
• Assist in menu planning and stock rotation.
• Order, shipping, and receiving with Head Chef and AM Sous Chef.
• Supervise PM Line Cook, Swing Cook, and Kitchen Porter/Prep.
