Job summary

destinationone Consulting in Ontario currently seeks a Plumbing Inspector to join our direct placement team in London and other Ontario locations. You will inspect plumbing systems for compliance with local codes, review plans, and support enforcement actions to ensure safety and reliability across commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

The role requires a certified or diploma in Plumbing Inspection, strong observational and communication skills, and the ability to document findings

Qualifications

  • Relevant certification or diploma in Plumbing Inspection or Plumbing Technology.
  • Experience as a plumbing inspector or similar role with codes knowledge.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills for inspections.
  • Excellent communication with plumbers, contractors and officials.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational reporting skills.

As aPlumbing Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting plumbing systems andinstallations to ensure they comply with local plumbing codes, safetyregulations, and standards. Your role will be essential in maintaining thesafety, functionality, and compliance of plumbing systems within thejurisdiction.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Inspect plumbing systems,installations, and equipment to ensure compliance with local plumbingcodes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Review plumbing plans andblueprints to verify they meet all required codes and standards.
  • Conduct inspections ofresidential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems at various stagesof construction and installation.

  • Prepare detailed inspectionreports and maintain accurate records of inspections, compliance, andenforcement actions.

Requirements
