Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $39.21 per hour.
Reporting to the Manager, Plant Services, the incumbent performs skilled plumbing work at the journeyman level, including testing, installation, alteration, and repair of plumbing systems, natural gas piping, appliances, and accessories. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of building systems, emergency power, and related equipment.
Education and Experience: Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Plumber, Class B Gas Fitter's License with electrical endorsement recognized by BC, and valid Cross Connection Control Specialist Certificate. Two years' recent related experience or equivalent.
Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, physical ability, blueprint reading, organizational skills, operation of related equipment.
