Intermediate Mechanical Engineer (Energy)

The Role :

In this role you will be assigned energy projects which will include : continuous optimization studies, energy audits, regression analysis and M+V analysis. You will complete engineering calculations and write energy study reports to support engineering decision making and final utility submissions. You will contribute to the ongoing development of new systems and standards for the company. You aren’t afraid to take on different scopes which may include creating detailed control sequences of operations, system commissioning and / or mechanical design.

Qualifications :

• Engineering degree : eligible for EIT or P.Eng. status with EGBC.
• Experience with control optimization projects such as the continuous optimization program (C.Ops).
• 3-7 years of experience in energy engineering (energy studies, measurement and verification, controls optimization).
• Experience completing energy calculations for retrofit and optimization projects in Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to building design is considered an asset.
