Atlantic Facilities & Maintenance Ltd. is currently recruiting Plumbers with general maintenance experience in the Dublin & Leinster area. We provide reactive and preventive maintenance for our commercial clients in retail and commercial services. Established in 2011, we are experiencing growth as we expand our customer base.

Position Details

We are seeking a field-based plumber/maintenance technician with project management and estimating experience to join our mobile field service team, reporting to the Operations Team. This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility around core hours may be required occasionally to meet business needs. Ample overtime is available in addition to the base salary.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of general plumbing repairs and general maintenance/handyman repairs
• Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance
• Service plant room equipment such as boilers, pumps, pressure vessels, calorifiers, and relevant controls
• Submit detailed electronic service reports via company-issued smartphone
• Assist with quotations and purchasing queries
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements
• Install heating and plumbing systems as needed
• Overtime may be required for out-of-hours work

Additional Support

The successful candidate will receive full technical and coordination support from the head office team. General building maintenance and fabric repairs are also part of the role.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience

Desirable

• FETAC Level 6 Craft Plumbing Certificate
• Formal gas training/certification (GID/RGI registered)
• Previous maintenance experience
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management
• Experience maintaining and servicing gas boilers
• Clean driving license
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Team player
