Key Responsibilities

• Repair, install and maintain water fixtures / devices, pumps, valves and plumbing drainage systems
• Survey and monitor all of the Casino Rama Resort water supply and drainage and ensure proper operations
• Provide for the storage and inventory control for all spare water/plumbing devices and tools required for Casino Rama Resort
• Conduct self in a manner that reflects positively on Casino Rama Resort and encourages others to do the same
• Comply with Casino Rama Resort policies and procedures, including health and safety standards
• Act as a shift lead when required
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to mentor 1st year plumber apprentice

What You’ll Require

• Requires a journeyperson plumber trade certificate 306A
• A minimum of two years of commercial service plumbing experience
• Ability to read blue prints and schematic drawings
• Familiar with relevant Provincial and Federal Codes
• A valid steam fitter license would be an asset
• Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s license and provide a clean driver’s abstract on an annual basis
• Proven work history with regards to being punctual, dependable and flexible
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a team player in a business environment
• French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset

• Comply with the duties of workers or supervisors, as prescribed by Section 27 or 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Comply with all applicable Casino Rama Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols
• Demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude to ensure Casino Rama continuously provides a safe entertainment destination for patrons and co-workers
