WAGE: $40.12 hourly wage effective July 1, 2024

ARE YOU THE ONE WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
In this exciting role in Facility Services, you will assist management in achieving the efficient operation through reliable performance of plumbing while observing municipal policies and security and safety practices. You must have the ability to exercise sound technical judgement in ensuring compliance with, and the interpretation and application of relevant bylaws, codes and regulations while being tactful, firm, courteous and diplomatic in dealing with the public. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, tradesmen and other department officials and staff.
SUMMARY:
With minimal direction, the plumber installs, alters and maintains plumbing systems and auxiliary equipment. The plumber works cooperatively with other employees, students and the public.
DUTIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY, SKILLS:
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED (Plumber)
Hand tools, power tools, threading/cutting machine, and other relevant plumbing equipment.
