Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject-matter expert on PLM projects, providing technical and strategic expertise
• Provide operational support, particularly in arbitrating between Siemens, IBM, and TCS solutions
• Understand the complete view of Bombardier's PLM infrastructure, including technologies like Siemens, Dassault Systèmes (DS), Citrix, and disaster recovery (DR)
• Conduct technology watch on PLM infrastructures to stay current with the latest innovations, trends, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain design data in the APM (Application Performance Management)
• Lead the creation of functional designs to improve or develop IT standards (Building Blocks) and services
• Collaborate on projects with other IT areas to produce project deliverables
• Control, evaluate, and prioritize the demand for business information solutions in collaboration with key functions and business partners, applying an end-to-end vision
• Support project kick-offs and executions including strategies, effort estimations according to the project management framework in coordination with project managers
• Promote standardization, integration, and encourage innovation
• Translate needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring the comprehensiveness of system requirements in alignment with Bombardier's strategy, guaranteeing high-quality standards
• Develop an end-to-end understanding of business processes, vision, and IT best practices
• Supervise and support the development, validation, and evaluation of BIS solutions against requirements

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field, or 5 years of equivalent work experience
• You have more than 10 years of professional IT experience in one of the IT functional areas, which may include previous experience in IT project management
• You have advanced experience in PLM system administration, as well as a solid understanding of defense and civilian architectures, including concrete examples in controlled environments such as ITAR and Controlled Goods
• You are proficient in managing Cloud and on-premise architectures
• You have good knowledge of networks, systems, databases, integrations, storage, security, and cloud technologies
• You are an expert in enterprise solutions or a senior experienced developer
• You possess planning and organizational skills to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload within multiple projects
• You have good verbal and written communication skills in English and French
• You have the ability to effectively express technical concepts, both verbally and in writing.
