Job summary

Aptino, Inc. is seeking a PLM Data Analyst to support product data management, data quality, governance, and digital transformation initiatives.

The role focuses on PLM systems, SQL, data analytics, product structures, and enterprise system integrations. You will develop data validation, cleansing, governance processes, dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT teams to improve data integrity across PLM/ERP

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in PLM, Data Analysis, or Product Data Management.
• Hands-on experience with PLM platforms such as Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, or Aras Innovator.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structures, and engineering change management.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Understanding of PLM and ERP integrations, ETL, and data migration.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain product lifecycle data within PLM systems.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Develop data validation, cleansing, and governance processes.
• Identify and resolve data anomalies, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
• Support PLM data migration, transformation, and system upgrades.
• Develop PLM dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT teams.
• Support integrations between PLM, ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend data quality improvements.
• Document data models, business rules, workflows, and governance standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PLM systems, SQL, data analytics, product structures, and enterprise system integrations.

• Understanding of Digital Thread, Digital Twin, and product configuration management.
• Experience with PLM implementation and migration projects.
