Job summary

Canadian Executive Search Group is seeking a PLC Controls Specialist for one of our automation technology clients in Windsor, ON. The role focuses on designing, programming, debugging, and commissioning industrial automation systems within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

The successful candidate will have strong PLC and HMI programming experience, along with troubleshooting skills, and will contribute to project execution from concept through startup across controls, robotics, and

Qualifications

3+ years of PLC and controls programming experience.
Strong PLC and HMI programming experience.
Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
Excellent communication skills and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems.
Program PLCs using Rockwell, Schneider, and Siemens platforms.
Develop and configure HMI applications and operator interfaces.
Support electrical controls, drives, robotics, and automation projects from concept through startup.
Perform machine startup, commissioning, debugging, and system optimization.
Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and support as required.
