Qualifications

Job Description :

• Develop technical manuals, drawings, models, training documents, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshoot guides for automated equipment and processes.
• Support the validation of automated equipment operations.
• Coordinate Preventative Maintenance initiatives and communicate daily department activities.
• Interface with automated equipment and drive control solutions to eliminate defects, improve cycle times, and reduce machine downtime.
• Support and develop equipment control requirements and specifications.
• Assist design engineers in qualifying complex automation control solutions and applications.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to automation equipment operation.
• Understand PLC scan flow (inputs, decisions, outputs).
• Work with logic involving Set / Reset (latch/unlatch) bits, not finite state machine logic.
• Experience working with Servos, Robots, HMIs, PLCs, Vision cameras, TCP/IP, ProfibusDP, Profinet.
• Travel requirement up to 30%.

Skill Requirements :

• Degree in Engineering or a technical field with curriculum in Computer Science or Electrical practices.
• PLC development experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.
• Experience with SCADA systems (Supervisory and Data Acquisition).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• HMI development experience with Ignition system software.
• PLC, HMI & SCADA: At least 90% of PLC programming experience on Rockwell systems.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience on at least one project from scratch.
• Servo experience: Hands-on experience on at least one major project.
• Robotics experience: Hands-on experience on at least one major project.
• Database experience: Worked on SQL or relevant databases in at least one project.
