Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mississauga, ON for a Plating Technician. The Plating Technician will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces for plating, applying plating solutions, maintaining and calibrating plating equipment, and ensuring quality control throughout the plating process. Daily tasks include mixing solutions, monitoring plating operations, conducting routine inspections, and following safety protocols. The Plating Technician will also troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the plating process.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal surface preparation and plating applications
• Knowledge of plating solutions and mixing processes
• Ability to maintain and calibrate plating equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent adherence to safety protocols and procedures
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
• Certificate or diploma in a relevant field is preferred
