KTek Resourcing LLC is seeking a Software Engineer – Platform Security & Modernization in Montreal, hybrid (3 days on-site). You will help secure, modernize, and ensure operational reliability for mission-critical information distribution and file transfer platforms.

You will strengthen security posture, reduce technical debt, refactor legacy code, and drive resilience through automation, telemetry, and best practices in software engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience building REST APIs with Spring Boot.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation, SCA, SAST, and secure coding.
• Strong Linux/Unix and shell scripting skills.
• Familiarity with HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, SMTP, TLS, TCP/IP.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, and container tooling.

Responsabilités

• Remediate security vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure identified via tests and scanners.
• Upgrade third‑party libraries and platform dependencies to secure, supported releases.
• Refactor legacy code to improve maintainability and security.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams to turn findings into remediation plans.
