Job summary

Top 5 Canadian Investment Bank is building a specialist Platform Engineering team focusing on Terraform IaC, cloud architecture, and automation frameworks to underpin AI & Power Platform adoption. The role centers on Terraform modules, custom providers, and Azure infrastructure used across engineering teams.

This greenfield environment allows you to influence how AI and platform services are adopted at scale within the bank.

Qualifications

• C# or Go development experience is required or highly desirable.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud architectures is a must.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Terraform modules and IaC frameworks.
• Develop and support custom Terraform providers.
• Engineer Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Deliver networking, identity, and shared platform services.
• Implement observability, resiliency, and platform governance controls.
• Support platform architecture and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and Solution Development teams.

Overview

Our client is building a specialist Platform Engineering team responsible for creating the reusable

infrastructure, cloud services, and automation frameworks that will underpin future AI & Power

Platform adoption across the bank. This role sits at the heart of the programme and focuses on

platform engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud architecture.

The successful individual will work on Terraform modules, custom providers, Azure infrastructure, and platform services that will be consumed by multiple engineering teams across the organisation.

It's a greenfield-style environment where you'll directly influence how AI and platform services

are adopted at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
• Develop and support custom Terraform providers.
• Engineer Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Deliver networking, identity, and shared platform services.
