Job summary

Legacy Personnel Solutions is hiring for a Machine Operator in Windsor, Ontario. The role involves preparing and operating manufacturing machines to produce high-quality parts for final processing, with responsibilities including loading/unloading materials and following job orders.

The candidate should be able to read blueprints, document damaged parts in English, and have prior machine operator or general factory experience. Shift is midnight, full-time, on-site.

Duties of a Machine Operator :

• Prepare and operate manufacturing machines, such as lathes, shears, millers, presses, drills, etc., to produce high-quality product for final processing.
• Load and unload material and product onto the machine
• Ability to read a blueprint or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions
• Ability to write and read in English to document damaged parts

Requirements of a Machine Operator :

• Previous machine operator, assembler experience or general factory/warehouse experience (preferred)
• Ability to accurately follow a variety of work instructions
• Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects
• High school diploma

Job Scope:

• Full time Press Operators
• Full Time Midnights -10:40pm to 6:50am
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work unsupervised in a team environment
• Must have reliable transportation

Wage:

• Midnight Shift -19.25 per hour

Shifts:

• Midnight Shift -19.25 an hour
• Shift Time - 10:40pm to 6:50am
