GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Plant Operator who can start immediately to support our growing team in Canada. Responsibilities include material handling, loading and unloading trucks, and processing waste material while keeping the plant safe and clean.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, ability to work a standard 8-hour shift (with evenings or weekends as needed), and passing pre-employment drug testing. We value reliability and commitment to a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience with material handling and waste processing.
• Ability to operate and maintain safe, clean equipment.
• Attention to housekeeping and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle loading/unloading and processing of waste material.
• Maintain a safe, clean equipment and work area.
• Participate in daily plant housekeeping and other operational duties.

Key Accountabilities And Activities

• Material handling such as loading/unloading trucks & processing waste material
• Maintains safe and clean equipment and general work area
• Involved in daily housekeeping of plant
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday with some evening and weekend work required
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
