Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Plant Mechanic (Millwright) in Bowmanville to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on concrete plants and related equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, water systems, conveying systems, piping, boiler operation, air compressor systems, and controls.
2. Conduct indoor and outdoor maintenance activities year-round.
3. Travel across territory to various locations using a company truck.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Safety-oriented team player
• Mechanical aptitude
• Initiative and ability to learn through practical experience and instruction
• Valid Ontario Driver's license (Class G) with a satisfactory 3-year driving record
• Own or willing to acquire basic hand tools
• Previous plant maintenance or millwright experience is a strong asset
