Job summary

Carlisle Companies seeks a Plant Manager to lead the site team, oversee manufacturing processes and the facility’s operations around the clock. You will own safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with R&D, Engineering, and Logistics to meet KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Eng, 10+ years in manufacturing leadership (plant manager preferred), and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 10+ years in manufacturing leadership including Plant Manager experience.
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and engaging environment for all employees and ensure safety systems and metrics are followed.
  • Ensure quality and delivery KPIs are met and support ISO 9001 and 14001.
  • Lead cost and productivity targets including inventory accuracy.
  • Champion operating system implementation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop staff and leadership capabilities and oversee succession planning.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Engineering, Technical Services, Sales, Customer Service and Logistics.
