What you will bring :

Strategic Leadership : Directs the strategic direction and overall administration of plant operations.

Management Oversight : Oversees staffing, and production, and guides the management team to enhance production growth, revenue, and product quality.

Relationship Management : Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers, consultants, department managers, and employees.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Develop and implement the vision and strategy for plant administration, utilizing ERP software for various business functions in finance, human resources, manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement.
  • Hands-on involvement in various operational aspects, including purchase orders, shipping, and collaboration with supervisors and hourly personnel.
  • Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and performance management, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Oversee budget preparation, control planned output, and analyze key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to company practices, policies, safety standards, and collective agreements.

Skills and Education Needed to Perform the Job Successfully :

  • College diploma or Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of previous management experience in a manufacturing environment with proven leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
  • Solid knowledge of customer service, quality forecasting, budgeting, and performance management systems.
  • Adherence to the company’s Principles, Values, and Behaviors.
  • Ownership, accountability, and humility. The ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on team skills and interpersonal trust.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Effective presentation skills for communication with employees and Senior Management.
  • Integrity in a fast-paced, demanding role with active management and quick response to plant issues.
