Our client is a fast-growing Canadian organization specializing in contract development and manufacturing services for next-generation products in the regulated wellness and pharmaceutical space. The Job!

As the Plant Manager and member of the Executive Team, you will lead all daily operations at a high-paced, regulated manufacturing facility, driving efficiency and performance across production, warehousing, and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that align with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline inventory and supply chain operations.
  • Manage workforce planning and resource allocation to ensure timely product delivery and optimal output.
  • Ensure strict adherence to industry compliance standards through audits and prompt issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain performance reporting systems to monitor KPIs and inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentorship, and development of team leaders.
  • Act as a point of contact for client-related escalations, reinforcing a customer-first approach.

What you bring to the job

The ideal candidate is someone with demonstrated success managing operations in a manufacturing environment, ideally within pharma or similarly regulated sectors. You also come with:

  • In-depth experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong command of production processes, maintenance operations, and warehousing best practices.
  • Strategic thinker with sharp analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communicator—clear, persuasive, and effective across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Thrives under pressure, with strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities.
