Job summary

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak, North America’s premier rail specialist, seeks a curious finance professional to support a small manufacturing plant and contribute to FP&A and risk management. Reporting to the CFO and VP, Business Controlling, you’ll bridge accounting with operations and drive practical improvements across processes.

You’ll work closely with plant and finance teams, handle month-end, budgeting, and forecasting, and develop models for costs, working capital, and investments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Experience with financial analysis, reporting or accounting; exposure to manufacturing, plant operations or cost accounting is an asset.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial systems and data; experience with ERP or BI tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on finance resource for different plants and resolve day-to-day reporting questions.
• Support month-end activities, reconciliations and accurate financial reporting with corporate controlling.
• Analyze costs, inventory, productivity, and operating results; investigate variances and actions.
• Help improve data quality, financial discipline and follow-through on issues.
• Support budgets, forecasts and management reporting with data validation.
• Translate financial findings into clear insights for decision-making.
