Job summary

O-I Brampton is seeking a Plant Engineer to manage maintenance of production equipment, furnaces and facilities, ensuring safety, environmental compliance and uptime. You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee apprenticeships and drive lean improvements across the plant.

The role requires a engineering degree with 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance or engineering leadership, and CMMS experience (Limble preferred). Competitive CAD compensation and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years in maintenance/engineering management in manufacturing.
• CMMS experience; Limble preferred.
• Maintenance plan creation for large facilities.
• Experience managing large-scale projects.
• Leadership experience coaching and training teams.
• Strong interpersonal & cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance of production equipment, furnace, electrical systems, and facilities.
• Ensure environmental and safety compliance across the plant.
• Supervise training of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical crafts.
• Support job-change initiatives to improve performance.
• Promote lean principles and continuous improvement with staff.
• Champion energy savings and oversee apprenticeships.
