Job Summary

Operates and maintains all plant operations equipment including boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems. Operates auxiliary equipment necessary for the medical center and clinics, such as pumps, motors, and compressors. Performs water treatment analysis and adjustments.

Essential Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Operates, maintains, inspects, repairs, and modifies plant equipment including boilers, motors, pumps, and HVAC systems. Performs electrical repairs, safety tests, water testing, plumbing repairs, and routine maintenance. Reads blueprints and schematics. Records data and maintains logs. Performs welding, locksmithing, and other related tasks. Drives as needed for maintenance tasks. Ensures customer service quality.
