DESCRIPTION:

Reporting directly to the Operations Lead Analyst and performing at a fully qualified level, requiring knowledge of departmental professionalism, judgment, and initiative related to job duties.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Budget Planning & Allocation:
  • Input and implement budgets per commercial operations.
  • Monitor ongoing expenses, identify areas for cost optimization, ensure budget compliance, and strive for cost-effective solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
    • Work with internal customers and peers to mitigate financial risks and ensure resource availability.
    • Review and prepare month-end financial information, including invoices, LEMs, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting:
    • Conduct monthly financial forecasting and planning to anticipate budget impacts.
    • Update maintenance and technical services forecasts based on planned work and communicate changes.
  • Requisition and Invoice Management:
    • Manage requisitions and invoice receipts related to assets.
    • Ensure procurement requests are documented, processed timely, and compliant with policies.
    • Verify invoices against receipts and purchase orders, work with vendors and finance to resolve discrepancies, and maintain transaction records.
  • Program Efficiency and Skills:
    • Proficient in Oracle, Inspyrus, Excel, and Word for data management, process streamlining, and reporting.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Participate in safety meetings, ERP exercises, hazard identification, and review Intelex for hazard mitigation funding.
  • Support and Coordination:
    • Assist site leadership and provide administrative support such as timekeeping, permit tracking, and waste manifests.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong learning ability, initiative, mature judgment, and responsible work habits.
    • Accuracy with numbers, proficiency in spelling and grammar.
    • Excellent record keeping, documentation, and organizational skills.
    • Effective and courteous interaction with internal and external customers.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Apps (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
    • Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

    • Ability to prioritize and present information clearly to various audiences.
    • Commitment to Health & Safety and a caring culture.
