Superior Essex's Essex Solutions Simcoe Plant seeks a Plant Accounting Manager to lead all accounting and financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls across manufacturing operations.

You will partner with plant leadership and corporate finance to deliver insightful cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting, while driving continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant accounting functions, including month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and communicate monthly financial results, forecasts, budgets, and annual operating plans.
• Partner with plant leadership for financial analysis to support decisions.
• Monitor inventory valuation, standard costs, inventory transactions, and physical counts.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Prepare and distribute KPI reporting for plant leadership.
